With the Leo and Aquarius eclipses arriving alongside Pluto’s move into Aquarius, the energetic ground is moving. We’re waking up from the dream, and now we’re faced with the reality, and that’s exactly the point.

Part of what we learned during that Virgo-Pisces eclipse cycle was getting back in touch with a higher authority—an authority outside of the self or man. Maybe a spiritual or even religious personal authority, a moral consciousness beyond the physical world.

It was about getting back in touch with the “why,” releasing our attachment to the analytical mind so that we could slip into the collective pool of consciousness. And now we’re here.

Power Is Changing

Now that we’ve moved through that, Pluto in Aquarius is creating a collective shift that transforms the whole power dynamic. Pluto is a very powerful planet in your birth chart and one that everyone has to reckon with. On a psychological level, it’s the epicenter of change, transformation, and rebirth.

Pluto urges you to just embrace the chaos and normalize the side of yourself that you might try to hide from others.

On a collective level, it’s a threat to false egos and a gift to authenticity. Alongside the eclipses, we’re seeing a total transformation in society and social media. Eclipses tend to bring quick and sweeping changes. With Mercury going retrograde in Pisces at the end of the month, the astrology for the rest of February has a lot of swirling uncertainty.

This is where you’ve got to lose your mind in a literal sense. The analytical, over-thinking Aquarian mind will try to solve the uncertainty with logic, but the Pisces retrograde reminds us that some things can only be felt, not figured out. When the ego’s challenged, old habits can surface and keep you from the actual happiness you desire. Sometimes we think we know what’s best for us, and we avoid clear signs or fated encounters with the right people if it means protecting the image we’ve got of ourselves.

Collective Fulfillment

You’ve got to lose your identity this eclipse season to find yourself in an ever-shifting landscape. It’s time to learn to set aside your own needs and adopt a more collective approach to your work.

The desire for personal achievement is a burden you can finally release yourself from, finding real joy in doing what’s meaningful rather than what’s attention-grabbing.
